A Special Thank You from Boma

On behalf of the SEA Partners’ family, I want to take this opportunity on this this blessed holiday of Thanksgiving to convey our appreciation and gratitude for your prayers and support. In fact, just yesterday I received a special thank you from David Seje, one of our staff members in Boma.

” Thanks a lot for your spiritual, moral, and financial support that you are giving me here in Boma. I am well supplied and thank God for your kindness.” (David Seje)

Because Boma is in such a remote area of South Sudan, in order to re-supply the food for our staff and to bring in the salaries for our South Sudanese staff, SEA Partners must charter flights. AIM Air (African Inland Missions) has always been a great partner and has been instrumental in our continued efforts, but these flights are quite expensive. The cost for this flight was almost $2500, but it is the price we pay for serving God in Boma. David and our staff are always very excited to see a plane coming to Boma. Thank you so much for your support that funds these flights.

“Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.”

I Chronicles 16:34 (NIV)

David was instrumental in navigating the immigration of the 10 Faith Learning Center students to Kenya. He personally escorted the children from Boma through perilous terrain to ensure their safe arrival. These children are adjusting well and each one represents the first of their family to ever study in Kenya. This would not have been possible without David’s bravery and leadership.
We are so grateful for your generosity and prayers. Your support and prayers are having a huge impact on children and their families in Boma. May God bless you for your kindness.
Happy Thanksgiving!
Donnie Brake, Ed.D.
President
