Praise the Lord—God is at work in Boma!

Thanks to a generous gift from the Birtcher Foundation this past summer, SEA Partners was able to construct two dorms to house students from the remote Kachipo village of Zooch. Since their completion, these dorms have become more than just a place to sleep—they have become a place of spiritual growth. Pastor Tom has been faithfully ministering to these kids with nightly devotions offering the students encouragement, mentorship, and the hope of Christ.

Historically, the Kachipo from Zooch and the Murle from Boma have not had strong relationships—often keeping to themselves, and at times, doing so in tension. But by the grace of God, these dorms have brought the two communities together in a way we could not have imagined. Now, they hold monthly joint church services, alternating between Boma and Zooch. What a beautiful picture of reconciliation and unity in Christ made possible by a gift given to bring these Kachipo children to our school.

We are thanking God for this remarkable opportunity and ask that you continue praying for both the Murle and Kachipo people. In June, the community from Zooch will travel to Boma for the next service, and during this visit, we plan to ask the Zooch leaders to allow more children to attend school in Boma.

Currently, we have 65 students from Zooch living in the dorms—and we are praying to welcome many more in the near future.

Thank you for your faithful prayers and ongoing support. You are a vital part of what God is doing in South Sudan!
