Boma Reopening

Praise the Lord! Our team finally made it to Boma and have hit the ground running. They have reopened the school and have already started meeting with the Kachipo women in Zooch. Our Women’s program leader, Carey, sent me this note:

During the offline period, we visited Zooch for ministry, and we are grateful to report that a large number of women and church members showed up. The Kachipo people were very receptive and showed a deep hunger for the Word of God. Their only request was for a church and a school in their community.

We encouraged them to allow their students to continue attending school in Jonglei as we pray and plan for the establishment of a school in Zooch in future. In the meantime, we have started the Women’s Fellowship in Zooch Church every Thursday, and we thank God for this new beginning. We are also planning to join the women more in their weekly prayers.

Above all, may the name of the Lord be glorified. Let us continue to pray for the community in Zoch, that God may strengthen them, provide for their needs, and continue drawing them closer to Him.

After months of delay, God has provided us this encouragement. He is still at work and provides for our needs according to his plan. This has been a tough season for us in the US as well. We have found ourselves short financially over the last couple of months and would appreciate your help. Please prayerfully consider a gift through the link above or below to help with this shortfall.
