” There is none holy like the Lord: for there is none besides you; there is no rock like our God”. 1 Samuel 2:2 (ESV)
Thank you for all your prayers as God has sustained us and is working out His purposes despite several difficulties we have so far encountered on this trip. Our struggle to obtain visas coupled with a delayed flight resulted in several scheduled meetings being missed in Juba.
In spite of the challenges, we finally arrived in Juba and immediately went to the offices of the Ministry of Education. We were blessed to be guided by Korok Remoris, the Chairman of Boma County Commission, who introduced us to Victor Anei Akok, the Director of Quality Assurance and Standards. Director Okok was very excited to hear about the school project in Boma and has agreed to follow up with his superior to give us textbooks and curriculum. This will be a huge blessing in our efforts to train our students in Faith Learning Center

Our second meeting of the day was equally fruitful as we discussed future partnerships with Joint Aid Management (JAM).  JAM has been a critical partner of ours for many years and they have now returned to Boma. We met with Jean Menendie, the acting Country Director and Angie, the Global Financial Manager, and discussed the future needs of the Murle in Boma. Over the next few months we hope to develop several cooperative programs that can aid the people in Boma with an initial emphasis on clean water sources.

Tomorrow we leave for Boma and I am looking forward to the installation of the new solar powered water well. I will update you on this project as I am able.
Please continue to pray for us and that God would be glorified by our efforts.
